Research Integrity

ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï University of Applied Sciences upholds the principles outlined in The European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (ALLEA, 2023, DOI: 10.26356/ECOC), adopted by All European Academies (ALLEA). This Code provides a framework for self-regulation within the European research community and is recognised by the European Commission as the key reference for research integrity in all EU-funded projects.

According to The Code, ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï research activities comply with these four core principles:

  1. Reliability – ensuring high research quality through sound design, methodology, analysis, and responsible use of resources.
  2. Honesty – maintaining transparency, fairness, completeness, and impartiality in conducting, reviewing, and communicating research.
  3. Respect – demonstrating consideration for colleagues, research participants, society, ecosystems, cultural heritage, and the environment.
  4. Accountability – taking responsibility for research across all stages, from conception to dissemination, including management, supervision, and societal impact.

The European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity

These principles are integrated into the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Code of Academic Integrity, with any concerns or breaches evaluated and resolved by the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Ethics Board.
